Hi, im new to archery and i was about to buy the win and win black wolf bow at 62 inch and 45# my draw weight is 29 inch, and am aiming at traditional shooting off the bow, so my question is what spine would you recommend for these arrows and are there any other arrows you would recommend for my specs etc. ThanksSpine is hard as it depends on point weight and a number of factors. You can check arrow charts. I use a 43# recurve at 28.5" and I have found 600 spine to be correct for me. So that would be my starting point and then you adjust point weight to get it right. If your shooting heavier point weights then a 500 spine might be needed. But i would start at 600.
Hello just wondering about the Gold Tip traditional feather fletched arrows, looks like an old product photo on the product page. Are you able to confirm what you have in stock is the newer currect stock style? thanksyeah we have the newer one in stock
What does GT size meanSpine
Are the shafts wood? No, they are a carbon shaft with a wrap
I assume the full length arrows are 32"?Yes they are 32". Measuring shaft only
hi there, I am having a bit of trouble determining which spine to get. I'm shooting a 50lb @ 28 with a 31-31.5 draw so i'm guessing the actual draw is closer to 60lb. I've been shooting 55/75's with 125gr points but looking at GT spine chart i should be shooting a 340 or 300 which would be a 75/95 or have I made a mistake? thanksIt depends on the bow. If the arrows are shooting well then stick with them. With compound you can really use most arrows. With Traditional archery you will often need lighter spine to get the arrow to flex around the bow
Just wondering if you can buy these single? And a price if possible? No I only have dozens
Samick Sage #35 27.5 draw, would these work?Yes
Can I choose any colour feather for example two solid colours and one barred cock feather? They are made at goldtip so it is only what I have in stock. Barred feathers are not used.
Are these arrows suitable for a Martin Jaguar 40lbs? What points would you suggest for target practise and do you charge $5 per arrow per cut or is it for the dozen? How do I request the arrows cut when paying for them? ThanksYes those arrows are fine. Saunders combo points 5/16 would be suitable. $5 per dozen arrows (not each). If not in the drop down menu, add to the notes of the order that you want arrow cutting and $5 will be charged extra to your credit card.
Are these arrows suitable for a Martin Jaguar 40lbs? Do you charge shaft cutting ($5) for each arrow or for the dozen?Yes those arrows are fine. $5 for the whole dozen NOT per arrow. :)
The GT 3555 arrows, what type and weights are the tip inserts. Also what type of nock is supplied standard? Do they have an insert? What are the weights.
PS.Using the GT design your own arrow software, that's why so many questions. Bow is Bear Grizzly 45# @ 28" draw.
Regards,
PaulThe arrows are the standard arrows made by goldtip with goldtip nocks and goldtip inserts.
With the gold tip make your own arrows you can add weights. If you want to add weights it just adds to the price.
You need 5/16 points
these can be cut to order correct?Yes $5. I measure shaft length.
what are good weight field points for these arrows? and these are good for a 40# bow? Thanks125gr because it gets the arrows to bend out of the bow. The heavier the point the better
Are these arrows (and any of the arrows you sell here) sold in packs? Or is it $140 for a single arrow? They are sold in dozens. $140/dz. We do have single arrows also, but all under $20
