Choosing your Arrow. Three types of arrow are available Alluminum, Carbon and a Alluminum/Carbon. Alluminum shafts tend to bend so while once the dominate arrow today the allumuinum shaft accounts for less than 10% of sales. Carbon Shafts are by far the most popular shaft on the market- They are good value for money and are extremely robust. If you are hunting, field shooting or recreational shooting then the all carbon shaft is your best choice. Alluminum / Carbon these shafts have an alluminum core and are wrapped with carbon. They tend to be very thin which is ideal for target archery when wind is blowing. They tend to be more expensive.
Carbon Tech make four all carbon shafts: Cheetah very fast, Whitetail the blend of speed and weight - similar to goldtip, and Rhino very heavy and robust for hunting.
